About Us

Tanzania Women and Youth Foundation is a Non – Governmental Organization based in Tanzania dedicated in advocating empowerment, rights and wellbeing of women, youth and other special groups in Tanzania. We affirm our responsibility to contribute towards the human development and upholding nature and abide by the core value, volunteerism, tolerance, gender equality, nondiscrimination, participation, transparency, and strive to become member driven organization.

Meet Our Founder

Rosemary John Mzee (LLB, PGDLP, LLM) is the founder and the Managing Director of the Tanzania Women and Youth Foundation (TAWOYOFO). She has attained her Bachelor Degree in Law from the University of Dar es Salaam; Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practices from the Law School of Tanzania; and Master’s degree (LLM in Corporate and Commercial law)  from the University of Dar es Salaam. Currently she is the practicing Advocate in the united Republic of Tanzania.
